Promed's first report published a few days ago stated that Ukraine's first report to Promed found few cases of swine flu in the thousands of cases of reported illness. Promed reported it the way they received the report from Ukraine, however, now WHO has entered the picture and is co-reporting with Promed when it comes to the Ukraine. The first report by Promed (without WHO's collaboration) disappeared from Promeds website. Damn....

The Ukrainian Health Minister Vasyl Kniazevych told the national radio station that he believes the as-yet unidentified virus could be one that has already been discovered and is known as California A/H1N1 flu. This is thought to be a more virulent strain of the H1N1 virus. The minister says that efforts to identify the mystery virus are expected to take several weeks. The various competing theories will no doubt continue to circulate as Ukraine and the rest of the world await the findings.

According to the premier, the patients with flu and acute respiratory infections will be treated by broad-spectrum medications within first three days and will be taken specimens for analysis.

All of the H1N1 vaccines that have been produced use the California A/H1N1 flu strain....the only H1N1 virus reported by the CDC and WHO. As for being more virulent than another H1N1 strain? I dunno.

nearing #1, there's nothing suspicious at all about bioscientists dying. Scientists of all sorts die all the time. I personally know four scientists and technologists who died within the past few months, none of them bioscientists. They died of what anyone else dies of, with a greater number dying from working in their profession. These are called occupational hazards.

Beyond that, those deaths you linked to are not bizarre at all.

You can find this exact info posted a thousand times on a thousand different sights. If you want to investigate these claims, go right ahead. It will be time consuming, but there are news articles and documents, and info about these companies out there. Most of these people were killed, or died otherwise suspious deaths. Certainly some of them may have died of natural causes, or for reasons not related to their work, but it does not answer the questions concerning the majority of them. Only a very few of them are reported to have had health problems. For the number of deaths that have occured within this group, this is a very short period of time. I was speaking off hand of my recollection of past research.

What we don't know is why they want us to take that cookie so bad? Is the need to sell vaccines more important this year? I suppose we could come up with plenty of reasons why that was their soul reason for pushing this vaccine. But then I think, why bother pushing it, the H1N1 vaccine is already paid for, who cares if it's not all distributed? What other reason may be behind this effort? Perhaps the push is to kill us all, or many of us? But why would that help our country? Some people are saying it would help our economy if we "thinned the herd", but from an economic and strategic stand point that plan doesn't to hold any water. Why would they want to kill healthcare workers, pregnant women, and children, the people they are pushing this vaccine to get? We will need our healthcare workers, and children to substain our country. In order to pay off our countries debt, and pull our country out of this economic hole, we need as many people as possible to be working. Less workers may mean more jobs, but it wouldn't mean more money. We also need all our people to protect our country from invasion. If half our population was gone, we would surely look like an easy target. Perhaps then the push is to save lives, but from what? Do they know more than they are teling us? And were their efforts, if they were honest, all in vain? So far they have not sold their case to all the Amercian people on why we need this vaccine, and others are panicking. We know there are holes in their plan, whatever their reason behind it. We know it will be impossible to make vaccines in time if the H1N1 vaccine were to mutate. We know the vaccine they ordered won't work against a deadlier form of the virus. We know vaccine suppliers are overwhelmed and do not have the capacity to change gears in time should we need them to. Look how long it too them to produce this vaccine. Even if they are lying about the shortages now, we are still talking about producing enough vaccine for the entire planet within a few months time. That's a huge task. Then having to wait because the countries who produce the vaccines aren't going to let a single vial out of their country before they have all received the shot. We were not the first country to push the cookie to get the people vaccinated, so it does not seem our country is the only one who thinks it's a good idea.

China made their very own vaccine, they already vaccinated their entire population without a single adverse reaction, or so they say. During a study conducted in China, the Chinese people overwhelming stated that they were willing to lose half their population in order to aquire more land and that no other country could afford to lose as many people as their's can, and that they were willing to kill women and children in order to take that land. There are so many bizzare and dangerous things going on all around us. Sure we have our own nut bags and murders in this country, but so far we really have been protected from some of the world's craziest and desperate people.

It is fact. The following list is just those out of more than 60 untimely deaths since 2001 who were incontrovertibly murdered. Many, many more were victims of suspicious circumstances, unlikely events, and just plain suspiciously bad luck, including a high number of car wrecks and plane crashes.

#86 Caroline Coffey, 28. Died June 3, from massive cuts to her throat. Hikers found the body of the Cornell Univ. post-doctoral bio-medicine researcher along a wooded trail in the park, just outside Ithaca, N.Y., where the Ivy League school is located. Her husband was hospitalized under guard after a police chase and their apartment set on fire.

#84 & 85Laurent Bonomo and Gabriel Ferez, both 23. Died July 3, after being bound, gagged, stabbed and set alight. Laurent, a student in the proteins that cause infectious disease, had been stabbed 196 times with half of them being administered to his back after he was dead. Investigators are looking for a connection between the murder of this leading bio weapons researcher and the hepatitis outbreak in Tver, Russia.

Despite his missing car and apparent credit card theft, homicide Inspector Holly Pera said investigators aren't convinced that robbery was the sole motive for Lull's killing. She said a robber would typically have taken more valuables from Lull's home than what the killer left with. Lull had been chief of nuclear medicine at San Francisco General Hospital since 1990 and served as a radiology professor at UCSF. He was past president of the American College of Nuclear Physicians and the San Francisco Medical Society and served as editor of the medical society's journal, San Francisco Medicine, from 1997 to 1999. Lee Lull said her former husband was a proponent of nuclear power and loved to debate his political positions with others.

#74: Geetha Angara, age 43. Died: February 8, 2005. This formerly missing chemist was found in a Totowa, New Jersey water treatment plant's tank. Angara, 43, of Holmdel, was last seen on the night of Feb. 8 doing water quality tests at the Passaic Valley Water Commission plant in Totowa, where she worked for 12 years. Divers found her body in a 35-foot-deep sump opening at the bottom of one of the emptied tanks. Investigators are treating Angara's death as a possible homicide. Angara, a senior chemist with a doctorate from New York University, was married and mother of three.

#73: Jeong H.Im, age 72. Died: January 7, 2005. Korean Jeong H. Im, died of multiple stab wounds to the chest before firefighters found in his body in the trunk of a burning car on the third level of the Maryland Avenue Garage. A retired research assistant professor at the University of Missouri - Columbia and primarily a protein chemist, MUPD with the assistance of the Columbia Police Department and Columbia Fire Department are conducting a death investigation of the incident. A "person of interest" described as a male 6'–6'2" wearing some type of mask possible a painters mask or drywall type mask was seen in the area of the Maryland Avenue Garage. Dr. Im was primarily a protein chemist and he was a researcher in the field.

#69: Taleb Ibrahim al-Daher.Died: December 21, 2004. Iraqi nuclear scientist was shot dead north of Baghdad by unknown gunmen. He was on his way to work at Diyala University when armed men opened fire on his car as it was crossing a bridge in Baqouba, 57 km northeast of Baghdad. The vehicle swerved off the bridge and fell into the Khrisan river. Al-Daher, who was a professor at the local university, was removed from the submerged car and rushed to Baqouba hospital where he was pronounced dead.

#67: Matthew Allison, age 32. Died: October 13, 2004. Fatal explosion of a car parked at an Osceola County, Fla., Wal-Mart store. It was no accident, Local 6 News has learned. Found inside a burned car. Witnesses said the man left the store at about 11 p.m. and entered his Ford Taurus car when it exploded. Investigators said they found a Duraflame log and propane canisters on the front passenger's seat. Allison had a college degree in molecular biology and biotechnology.

Her research focused on the part of the human molecular structure that could be affected best by medicine. Holzmayer was focusing on helping create new drugs that interfere with replication of the virus that causes AIDS. One year earlier, Holzmayer obeyed senior management orders to fire Huang. Huang appeared from behind the deliveryman. He shot Holzmayer several times at close range in the chest and head. As Holzmayer fell in her doorway, Huang ran to a Ford Explorer and drove away. Less than an hour after the shooting, Huang called his wife, according to Foster City Police Capt. Craig Courtin. He told her about the shooting and that he was going to kill himself, then he hung up. Huang's wife called the emergency services and Foster City police used search dogs to comb the area. They ran into a jogger who had seen Huang's body lying off the walkway that locals call "The Levee." He had fired a single bullet into his head.

This "Joseph Moshe" arrested in L.A. is likely a MOSSAD agent with a CONSCIENCE - and has apparently been extradited immediately to Israel. Now his "testimony", whatever it would have been, is still "secure". Btw, you don't seem to be aware that viral pneumonia is not necessarily a disease; it's a complication of a disease. One of the diseases that causes it is flu. You and many other posters also seem unaware of the fact that pneumonia and "swine flu" have been linked in the U.S. for months.

If you get infected by any influenza virus, you can get the flu, you can get pneumonia, you can get both. If you're infected with a fungus that attacks the lungs, you can get a specific fungal disease, you can get pneumonia, or both. If you're infected with a herpes simplex virus, you can get a herpes disease, you can get pneumonia or both. ETC. Many things can cause pneumonia including breathing in stuff that's neither virus nor bacteria.

You can call it what you want, but the fact is that people have known that "swine flu" can cause viral pneumonia for a relatively long time, and you don't have to go to Ukraine to find it.

Researchers Describe The 90-year Evolution Of Swine Flu

ScienceDaily (July 5, 2009) — The current H1N1 swine flu strain has genetic roots in an illness that sickened pigs at the 1918 Cedar Rapids Swine Show in Iowa, report infectious disease experts at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health in the New England Journal of Medicine. Their paper, published online June 29 and slated for the July 16 print issue, describes H1N1's nearly century-long and often convoluted journey, which may include the accidental resurrection of an extinct strain.

"At the same time the 1918 flu pandemic was rapidly spreading among humans, pigs were hit with a respiratory illness that closely resembled symptoms seen in people," said senior author Donald S. Burke, M.D., dean, University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. "Early experiments confirmed that this 1918 swine virus and a human strain emerged about the same time. Since then, this ancestor virus has re-assorted genetically with other influenza strains at least four times, leading to the emergence of the new 2009 strain, which has retained some similarities to the original virus."

In the paper, Dr. Burke and lead author Shanta M. Zimmer, M.D., assistant professor, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, describe the temporary "extinction" of the H1N1 virus from humans in 1957 and its subsequent re-emergence 20 years later. They note a small 230-person outbreak of H1N1 in 1976 among soldiers in Fort Dix, New Jersey that did not extend outside the military base. Then, H1N1 influenza re-emerged in 1977 among people in the former Soviet Union, Hong Kong and northeastern China. Careful study of the genetic origin of the 1977 strain showed that it was not the Fort Dix strain, but, surprisingly, was related closely to a 1950 human strain. Given the genetic similarity of these strains, re-emergence was likely due to an accidental release during laboratory studies of the 1950 strain that had been preserved as a 'freezer' virus, they said.

The authors hypothesize that concerns about the Fort Dix outbreak stimulated a flurry of research on H1N1 viruses in 1976, which led to an accidental release and re-emergence of the previously extinct virus a year later. The re-emerged 1977 H1N1 strain has continued to circulate among humans as seasonal flu for the past 32 years.

Although originally traced to Mexico, the exact physical origins of the 2009 H1N1 pandemic virus are unknown. Because the current strain shares common ancestry with older flu strains, it is possible that portions of the population may have partial immunity to the new pandemic virus.

The authors also go on to explain that the danger posed by a virus isn't based solely on its lethality, but also on its transmissibility, which is the ability to jump from animals to humans and to survive by mutating to adapt to its new human host. H1N1 influenza viruses have demonstrated this ability throughout their history.

"Studying the history of emergence and evolution of flu viruses doesn't provide us with a blueprint for the future, but it does reveal general patterns, and this kind of information is critical if we are to be as prepared as possible," said Dr. Burke.

I'm not sure where I read it, but there have been several microbiologists who have stated they highly suspected this virus was developed in a lab, rather than in nature, but it is still always possible it developed naturally as a result of lab mistakes.

Another question is how and why an extinct virus showed up at Fort Dix military base in 1976. And how did it go from there, the the Soviet Union and China two years later?
