I listening to Jeff Buckley's version of "Hallelujah tonight. That piece of art is so full of feeling and urges. It's passionate and powerful. Jeff's voice he uses as an instrument and he shapes it with his vocal cords to do what he commands; soft, humming and flying heights of pain.
It is a long piece that takes you, if you will let it, way beyond and above the room you are sitting while you are absorbing it's dulcet notes. I fills you up and leaves you satisfied for a moment after it ends,.
'Then there is nothing. Nothing is there. You look around and realize that when that piece ended, the world should have ended as well.
There is nothing after that song. Nothing.
Please take a ten minute break now to watch the video linked above, turn the volume way up , close your eyes, and relax and tell me if this affected you like it did me.
